We moved out to Utah the end of June for Luke's internship with Children's Primary Hospital. It has been a fun place to live. So much to see and do and we've made some wonderful friends already. I love seeing the mountains all around us. Every time i step outside the house my breath is completely taken away. BEAUTIFUL!
Our friends, and very close neighbors (we rent out their ba
sement), took us to the alpine slide up in park city the end of this summer. What a fun experience to ride the ski lift up to the top of the mountain and then zoom down in a sled following a track. Ellary was so nervous as the guy at the top was telling stories of people going to fast and jumping track! We all had a great time.Luke and i later made a trip back with the kids and decided to try the zip line. The kids waited at the bottom with some friends as they watched Mom and Dad fly down the mountain through the air.
We have also enjo
yed several hikes and even horseback riding in the mountains with Luke's Uncle David. Now seeing the mountains while on a very high steep ledge on the back of horse takes my breath away for a completely different reason! I can't wait to see more of what Utah has to offer :)
